Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Area, time and arrangement

1.1 The delivery service is only applicable to Hong Kong areas and is not applicable to: Frontier Closed Area, Islands District (except Discovery Bay), flat under renovation, construction site, controlled area, remote areas (e.g Mui Wo, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island, Tai O etc) or areas cannot be reached by trucksor where access to trucks is prohibited. For delivery to the riverside or pier, customers are responible for their own arrangements and payment for the transportation by sea and the loading and unloading of the goods. Delivery service is not applicable to buildings without lifts, handling fee will incur (please refer to Clause 2).

1.2 Delivery services are arranged according to the Hong Kong region.

1.3 The date and time of all delivery services will be subjected to the daily itinerary, and additional charges will be charged if a specified date and time is required (please refer to Clause 2). The service provider will contact the customer for the deliveery time on the delivery date before the delivery.

1.4 Each order (per invoice) can only be delivered to one address on the same date and time, and if you need to arrange a delivery to different addresses, additional fees will incur (please refer to Clause 2).

1.5 Delivery Failure & Unable to confirm delivery: There will be no refund of delivery charges on delivery failure due to unable to confirm delivery time with customers; an unattended recipent address upon arrival of goods at the appointed time; measurement not fit for delivery; incorrect delivery or contact information filled by the customer, etc. Rescheuling in such circumstance will be subjected to additional fees. (please refer to Clause 2).

1.6 General Delivery Service (Non-installation)

1.6.1 General Delivery Service is available from Monday - Saturday, 9am - 6pm (not available on Sundays and public holidays).

1.6.2 The General Delivery Service is arranged at least 3 working days from the date of purchase or modification, less than 3 working days is an express arrangement, and an additional fee will incur (please refer to Clause 2).

2. Charges (Pre order / per invoice)

2.1 General Delivery Service: Free (If delivery to Discovery Bay, the fee will be HK$200).

2.2 Special Arrangement

2.2.1 Express Arrangement: for General Delivery Service (less than 3 working days from the date of purchase or modification), additional charge of HK$300 will incur.

2.2.2 Designated date or time arrangement: Designated delivery date or time during service hours will be subjected to additional charge separatetly: HK$300 will be charged separatetly.

2.4 Other handling fees

2.4.1  Handling fee: The delivery service is only limited to the distance from the unloading
point to the point of delivery and installation within 100 meters, otherwise
the delivery team will charge a handling fee of HK$300 .

2.4.2 Staircase fee: From the unloading point (including the parking area) to the delivery & installation point, if it is necessary to access stairs, staircase fee will incur accordingly: 1 floor: HK$80; 2 floors: HK$160; 3 floors: HK$240; the 4th floor or above: Please check with the logistic team before delivery (1 step also count as 1 floor, max 10 steps per floor, more steps will be counted towards next floor).

2.5 General inspection fee: For products covered under warranty is HK$300 and for products not covered under warranty or outside warranty periods is HK$600. Replacement parts are not included in the inspection and will be quoted separately.

3. General Warranty: Please always refer to the user manual or instruction of the corresponding product. Product will not be covered under warranty in the following circumstance: Product that has been stored/installed incorrectly; has
been used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong
cleaning methods or cleaning products; has not been used in accordance with the
user manual or instructions that accompanies the product; normal wear and tear; damages caused by impacts or accidents; damages caused by external factors; displayed or discounted products; product without the original, copy or photo of sales invoice.

4. Refund and Exchange: Non-refundable; Exchanges must be made within 7 days of purchase; No exchange for opened, used, damaged items, and displayed, discounted products or items sold during the sales period.

5. Special arrangement due to inclement weather

5.1 Delivery service may be delayed due to weather/traffic
conditions, and the arrival date and time will be subjected to actual conditions.

5.2 In the event of force majeure or other factors (including but not limited to hoisting Typhoon Signal No. 8 / Black Rainstorm Warning / road blockage or closure, etc.) on the day of delivery, the delivery service will be delayed or suspended, and the customer service team will contact the
customer as soon as possible after the normal service is resumed to arrange the
re-delivery. 

6.  Jakewell reserves the right to make any amendments to the above terms and conditions without prior notice, and in case of any dispute, Tavopets reserves the right for the final decision.
